The Blue Marlin is one of the largest and most beautiful fish in the ocean of Aruba.

Blue Marlins are native to the tropical waters of the Atlantic, Pacific, Indian and Caribbean Oceans. These rare marine monsters are highly migratory and prefer the higher temperature of surface waters. They feed on mackerel and tuna, but will also dive deep to eat squid.

Blue Marlins can be caught all year long, but the peak season to go deep sea fishing in Aruba for these beauties are in Fall (September through November). The largest Blue Marlin ever caught by a fishing charter in Aruba was 1,080 pounds (488 kilogram).
